After feeling that you think you’re okay, you tapped Steve’s shoulder which caused him to jump. You stepped back a little and took a deep breath. You felt jealous, realizing he has never stared at you that way. His eyes were full of longing, full of love. You felt a pang in your chest when you saw it was his compass that contains Peggy’s picture. You silently crept behind his back and took a peek at whatever it was that he was looking at. He looked like he was staring at something which made you curious. You knocked softly on the door before opening it. You stepped away from your door and walked toward Steve’s room which is located at the end of the hall. You were about to enter your room when you thought that you should check if Steve is done with his packing. ![]() It’s been a year since you and Steve began dating and you still feel tingles even with just the thought of him. You felt yourself smile slightly at the thought of your boyfriend. You stepped out of the elevator and saw Steve’s room. The elevator dinged as you reached your floor. You quickly washed your dishes then ran to catch the elevator. You gulped down your already cold coffee before standing up and excusing yourself from Tony. “Nope, ‘cause I’m already done” Tony replied, making you roll your eyes. Do you have any plans on getting ready?” You asked, raising your eyebrows. And you’re one to talk” You said, standing up from your chair only to move to the couch to sit next to Tony “You just turned on the TV. “Well, have you packed all your stuff? I mean you’re a woman and God forbid you lot take so much time getting ready” Tony said, plopping down on the couch as he reached out for the remote to turn on the TV. Why are you in such a rush?” You asked, rolling your eyes as you took a sip of your coffee. But we’re not leaving for another few hours. “Sorry to interrupt but we’re gonna move today and you have to scoot” Tony’s voice echoed around the silent room. It was peaceful for a while until a voice spoke from behind you You left the kitchen and went to the living room and sat by the window, watching the scenery from the Stark Tower in awe. You finished stirring your coffee and dropped the spoon on the sink. You just woke up minutes ago and you went straight to the kitchen, expecting the other avengers to be already there.īut it was only you and you felt an odd sense of comfort having the kitchen to yourself. You glanced at the clock and found it was already 7 in the morning. You hummed as you stirred your morning coffee. I’m just writing what the reader I think would feel like in the situation. Towards Peggy but even more to yourself for even feeling that way.ĭisclaimer: I’m not hating on Peggy Carter. You felt hurt, unloved and most importantly, you felt remorse. Until one day, you caught Steve longingly staring at Peggy’s picture. Summary: You and Steve are dating and everything’s going well. (Honestly, though, what’s new.Never’ll Be Enough Expect me to drop off the face of the internet for a couple weeks. That being said, I’m going on a planned hiatus this May. I might post something this week if I’m able to go to the Aurora Rising event with Jay Kristoff near where I live. Maybe I’ll write some posts and schedule them, but I highly doubt I’d get the time to do that. □ I’m also going to finally visit my extended family right after graduation, and I’m not sure if I’ll have time or the technology to write any posts for the month. I have a bunch of testing (finals!!) and graduation. There was one week where there were four birthdays! I’ve been trying to work more hours and I applied to *hopefully* get a second job, so I’ve been pretty busy last month. Regardless, April was filled with a whole bunch of studying and events. It’s just that I don’t like the work that follows. Not that I don’t like the books that I have to read for English class. I finally start some books other than ones required by my English class. ![]() North Texas Teen Book Festival 2019 RecapĪpril has been an interesting month. I decided to do some hunting and found the last wrap-up I’ve done, and it happened to be in September of 2018. I was typing up this post when I realized that I don’t quite remember what I normally put in my monthly wrap-ups. GUYS! I just realized something very, very embarrassing.
